Youth Cancer Europe’s Insightful Workshop on CRC Primary Prevention in Cluj-Napoca

On August 9, 2024, Youth Cancer Europe hosted a dedicated ONCODIR workshop as part of their five-day event in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This special session brought together 42 cancer survivors from across Europe, hailing from countries including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

These remarkable individuals shared their unique and invaluable perspectives on the structural and behavioral barriers and facilitators related to colorectal cancer primary prevention. Their reflections and insights helped shed light on the challenges and opportunities in CRC prevention, providing a deeper understanding of the issues at hand.

The collective wisdom and experiences of these cancer survivors are instrumental in guiding future initiatives and strategies for CRC prevention across Europe.
